Lear Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Machine Repair Tech) for the Orion Plant in Auburn Hills, MI. The role focuses on installing, repairing and maintaining equipment to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The position requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, ability to read blueprints, and experience with CNC, robotics and automated equipment. Pay is $35 per hour, with shift transitions as business needs change, and benefits including health and vision

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance
• Experience with CNC, robotics, conveyors or automated equipment
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience in automotive production and high-volume manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Foster safety culture in maintenance processes and actions
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and wiring diagrams
• Install, adjust, and align machinery and components
• Repair or replace worn parts and components
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders and repair documentation
• Collaborate with production to resolve equipment-related issues promptly
