Simplified Real Estate is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service our portfolio of residential properties across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will diagnose and repair common building issues, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance concerns, while documenting work and maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires initiative, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between properties.

THE ROLE

As our Maintenance Technician, you will provide hands-on maintenance support across our portfolio of residential properties in Massachusetts (MA) and New Hampshire (NH). You will diagnose and complete common repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, locks, appliances, and general building needs within your authorized scope. You will also support unit turns, preventive maintenance, and property inspections. This role requires initiative, practical troubleshooting, and dependable follow-through from initial assessment through repair, testing, documentation, and closeout.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

• Previous hands-on maintenance or general construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience in multifamily housing, residential properties, facilities, construction, or a related environment preferred
• Working knowledge of common residential repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, locks, and appliances
• Ability to safely and correctly use common hand and power tools
• Strong initiative and practical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned repairs
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and adapt as property needs change
• Strong focus on repair quality, safety, cleanliness, and accurate documentation
• Professional communication with residents, Property Managers, vendors, and team members
• Ability to recognize when specialized or licensed support is required and elevate appropriately
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel between residential properties throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire
