Job summary

Simplified Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on maintenance across our portfolio in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will diagnose and complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, locks, and appliances, and support unit turns, preventive maintenance, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on maintenance or general construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in multifamily housing, residential properties, facilities, construction, or a related environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of common residential repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, locks, and appliances.
• Ability to safely and correctly use common hand and power tools.
• Strong initiative and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned repairs.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and adapt as property needs change.
• Strong focus on repair quality, safety, cleanliness, and accurate documentation.
• Professional communication with residents, Property Managers, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to recognize when specialized or licensed support is required and elevate appropriately.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between residential properties throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance support across our portfolio of residential properties in MA and NH.
• Diagnose and complete common repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, locks, appliances.
• Support unit turns, preventive maintenance, and property inspections.
• Document work from initial assessment through repair, testing, documentation, and closeout.
