Job summary

Davis Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Jacksonville, FL to maintain the physical integrity of our luxury apartment communities and keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will diagnose and perform routine maintenance, coordinate make-ready repairs after move-outs, schedule vendors, and assist with curb appeal. EPA/OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications are required; a high school diploma and valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related maintenance experience.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Proficient with computers and general office equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and daily transportation for supplies.
• May drive a golf cart.
• Company provided uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on units and equipment.
• Remove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment as needed.
• Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs after move-out.
• Follow EPA/OSHA regulations for hazardous materials storage and management.
• Create and assist with work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for curb appeal.
• Ensure amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review.
• Walk move-outs to assess damages and report results.
