Join us as a Maintenance Technician - Level 3 at Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician - Level 3 to join our innovative team at a new state-of-the-art Li-ion battery factory in De Soto, Kansas. This full-time, on-site role involves maintaining production equipment through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, supporting our mission to revolutionize sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics, including electrical and mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
• Adhere to safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard work development

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and basic mathematical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience or completion of PECNA maintenance apprentice program
• Experience with PLC systems and manufacturing environments
• Journeyman Certification or related technical training

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working in PPE as required.
