Graphic Packaging International in Lancaster, TX, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician responsible for electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment and facilities meet safety and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, follow safety rules, and support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives while minimizing downtime and responding to breakdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training or equivalent.
• 6+ months related maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity, pipefitting, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Must lift up to 100 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Install/replace components per work orders and safety rules.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical/mechanical breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Create and close out work orders; keep records of actions taken.
• Support LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
