Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks a Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment across shifts. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot high-speed machines, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

You will use SAP for parts, follow 5S principles, and contribute to Lean initiatives. The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance and Journeyman status; a strong team player with good communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Industrial Maintenance Experience.
• Proficient in SAP or Equivalent CMMS Experience.
• Journeyman Craftsman or Equivalent (Must Provide Documentation).
• Proficient with basic hand tools/power tools.
• Working Knowledge of Shop Floor Machines and Tools.
• Intermediate Troubleshooting (Pneumatics/Hydraulics/mechanical/electrical).
• Basic PLC/Drive troubleshooting.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient in Preventive Maintenance Methodologies.
• Able to Identify and Locate spare parts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety, quality, productivity and security procedures.
• Communicates machine and department issues and data-based solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by department manager or work order.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot/Repair high speed equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical components.
• Understands and monitors the 5S system and maintains a clean working environment.
• Records preventative maintenance activities in SAP.
• Responds to maintenance related issues involving plant equipment.
