Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to support our manufacturing and production teams. You will perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support new equipment installations to maximize uptime and quality.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to improve efficiency, maintain records, and share technical knowledge with operators.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude including rebuilding gears and forming equipment.
• Low voltage wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of three-phase circuits and motor control circuits.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls (relays, contactors).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
