Job summary

United Supermarkets, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment and systems running smoothly in our Texas facilities. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building systems, and using hand and power tools to repair components.

You will work with a team, adhere to safety protocols, and support continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial systems.
• Experience installing, servicing and testing equipment and wiring.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and HVAC systems.
• Strong math skills including fractions and unit conversions.
• Can lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication; initiative and problem solving.
• Works well in a team and responds to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and perform repairs on equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and replace worn components as needed.
• Follow manuals and work orders to guide service tasks.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report safety concerns.
