Job summary

Harbor Steel is seeking a Maintenance Associate to repair, maintain, and install machinery and equipment at our Kentucky operations. You will keep repair logs, perform preventative maintenance, and assess machines to schedule downtime.

Travel to other branches may be required to ensure safe, reliable operation. Responsibilities include training operators in lock-out/tag-out, maintaining grounds, and responding to repair requests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and safe operating practices.
• Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to keep records and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Install new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain repair logs and preventative maintenance records.
• Assess machines regularly to identify damage and schedule repairs.
• Train machine operators in safety procedures.
• Travel to other branches as needed to ensure equipment runs safely.
