Job summary

Harlem Center forNursing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in New York, NY. You will perform routine inspections, repair equipment, and help ensure uninterrupted daily operations to support residents' comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.
• Preferred: prior maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of machines and report issues.
• Assemble and repair furniture, beds, wheelchairs, and bio-med equipment as needed.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and electrical repairs.
• Ensure daily activities in the facility can be performed without interruption.
• Perform painting and plastering repairs as needed.
• Assist in removal of snow, ice, and debris.
• Adhere to all facility safety and infection control policies.
