Job summary

Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City, NY is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Assistant. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections to keep a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year maintenance experience; 2 years in residential setting preferred.
• Valid NYS driver's license and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Complete building repairs including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical.
• Manage floor care and safety inspections.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Transport staff and ensure compliance with vehicle regulations.
