Job summary

The Swan Food Company in Oklahoma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time, first-shift role. Starting pay is $35-$39 per hour, with Fri-Sun 5 am–5 pm and Mon 5 am–11 am hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment such as conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines.
• Follow food safety rules and use proper cleaning procedures and food-grade materials.
• Handle emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production running.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to ensure availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and comply with OSHA regulations.

Job description

Starting Pay: $35 - $39 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 5 am to 5 pm, Monday: 5 am to 11 am

What You Will Do:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
• Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
• Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• MIG, TIG, and STICK welding experience required
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
