CJ Schwan's in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the night shift. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, ovens and packaging equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to keep production running smoothly and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow food safety rules around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
• Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.

Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour
Additional $2.00 shift differential from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: 6:00pm-6:30am
