Job summary

The Swan Food Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a food manufacturing setting. Starting pay is $25.00/hour with a $2.00 shift differential for 3 PM–6 AM, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and more.

Packaging/Production

Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour

Additional $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m. -- 6 a.m.

Hours: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

What You Will Do:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
• Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
• Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
