Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical code
• Journeyman license preferred
• Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
• 4+ years industrial maintenance and 2 years electrical experience
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign PLC programs and software.
• Format hard drives and install PC software.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy distribution.
• Read blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications to locate and diagnose problems.
• Handle load calculations for wiring and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC hardware, VFDs, and process instrumentation devices.
• Lead process improvements and drive productivity.
• Use electricians' tools and testing instruments.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organized.
