Primary Objective:

Performs complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions related to installation, maintenance, repair, and distribution of electrical energy.

Major Functions and Scope:

• Collaborates with production supervisors and managers to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are met within a 14-day window, as documented in SOP.
• Possesses proven skills and knowledge in all level 3 areas, rated 4 or better on the maintenance training metric, with at least two blocks in level 4.
• Leads mechanics within their department or shift.
• Diagnoses and repairs any equipment maintained by plant maintenance.
• Performs electrical machinery and equipment repairs.
• Modifies PLC programs as needed.
• Troubleshoots and replaces components in PLC and OEM systems plant-wide.
• Troubleshoots and replaces motors and motor starter systems.
• Troubleshoots and replaces invertors used throughout the plant.
• Leads the maintenance team in performing scheduled PMs according to the PM calendar.
• Informs supervisors of operational status and reports any issues.
• Follows ISO procedures and completes maintenance work orders promptly.
• Maintains work order utilization above 85% for G2 shift and 65% for shift mechanics.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Adheres to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
