Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience in an injection molding or plastic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment including plastic injection molding machines and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect machinery to identify potential problems and address them before escalation.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and relocation of existing machinery.
• Comply with safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production to address equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support to manufacturing teams.
