General Technologies, Inc., has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician with experience working on Injection Molding Machines on 3rd Shift (10:45am - 7:15pm). Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining production and facility equipment, including installation, setup, preventative maintenance, and adjustments as needed by technical service instructions. Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

1. Proficient at troubleshooting problems and finding solutions to recurring issues.
2. Efficiently perform work duties in compliance with job priorities.
3. Familiar with electrical and hydraulic schematics.
4. Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
5. Good mechanical skills and familiarity with welding.
6. Familiar with grinders and conveyor systems.
7. Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
8. Some plumbing experience and electrical work.
9. Inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions.
10. Dismantle machinery for diagnosis.
11. Clean, lubricate, and repair machinery parts.
12. Analyze fault reports and service requests.
13. Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers.
14. Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
15. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
16. Inspect and repair building systems, including HVAC, pumps, chillers, and electrical systems.
17. Perform inspections of hydraulic hoses and valves for leaks.
18. Report to Maintenance Supervisor/Lead.

Requirements:

1. Mechanical inclination and ability to follow instructions.
2. Experience with extruders, grinders, pumps, and valves.
3. Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
4. Troubleshoot VFD and PLC systems.
5. Electrical and hydraulic knowledge required.
6. Perform general housekeeping.
7. Bilingual is a plus but not required.
8. 5+ years of maintenance experience on injection molding machines.
9. Experience in automation.
10. Physical stamina and strength.
11. Good communication skills.
12. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends.
13. Attendance of 98% or better.
14. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule: 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday, 10:45pm-7:15am (Extended hours and weekends as needed).

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Accommodations will be considered for qualified individuals.
