ALPLA, a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, seeks a maintenance technician to support our Alabama-based manufacturing operations. You will maintain and service proprietary ALPLA equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Basic skilled maintenance capability to perform essential duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment and general facility upkeep.
• Install and set up equipment; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Execute predictive maintenance using condition monitoring and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and repair molding equipment and related systems.
• Collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to maintain a productive environment.
