Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the safety and efficiency of production equipment. You will remove/install components, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with operators to address failures while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and proper documentation of malfunctions. The role emphasizes safety training and compliance with lockout/tagout and related procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating crane and rigging equipment.
• Experience performing hydraulic repairs and maintenance.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, including 460 VAC systems.
• Forklift training may be required and is provided by the company.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to lockout/tagout and other permits.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to identify causes of failure and recommends repairs.
• Collaborates with operators and technicians to understand failures and needs.
• Records malfunctions and adjustments for quality control.
• Performs test runs to verify proper machine function and alignment with standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas and tools.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment to ensure employee safety.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment.
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance tasks.
• Completes safety permits, assessments, and related practices.
• Assists with additional duties as needed.
