Job summary

Nestlé Professional is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support preventative and predictive maintenance for our manufacturing equipment. The role will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift) and involves a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automation tasks to keep plant systems running smoothly.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting gear reducers, conveyors, motors, PLCs, and instrumentation, with a focus on safety and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)
• Understanding of measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting
• Intermediate understanding of PLCs, ability to access program for troubleshooting purposes (would not be expected to program PLCs)
