Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Maintenance Technician in-training to support repair and upkeep of equipment and facilities. The role includes an initial 8-hour day shift (Mon-Fri) with progression to a 12-hour fixed schedule on the D Team (6p–6a) on a 1-3-3 rotation after training.

This is a hands-on program with structured training and safety emphasis. Successful applicants will complete a 60-week Avery Dennison Operator to Maintenance Technician Training Program, with hands-on proficiency in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with equipment / process troubleshooting is a plus.
• Trade School Certification (or Associates) in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent journeyman's level training and experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical energy distribution and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and inspect circuits and wiring for safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and follow OSHA regulations.
