Avery Dennison Corporation is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our Indiana facility. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical drive trains, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safe, reliable plant operation.

You will lead preventive maintenance schedules, mentor junior technicians, and create/upate SOPs and technical documentation. The position requires 8+ years of repair experience or an associate degree with 4+ years, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8+ years of verifiable mechanical repair experience OR an Associate Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in mechanical drive trains, bearings, gear sets, drive alignment, and AC/DC drives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical drive systems and related equipment.
• Establish and execute PM routes to ensure plant uptime.
• Lead root-cause analysis to resolve high-level mechanical issues.
• Mentor and train shift maintenance technicians to build team capability.
• Create and update SOPs and technical documentation.
