The role requires a strong background in hydraulics, electrical, welding, and rigging, plus PLC familiarity and commitment to continuous learning in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-8 years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning and effective written and verbal communication.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Must demonstrate Proficiency as Maintenance Tech III within 10 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly technically complex tasks with independence and decision-making as needed.
• Diagnose and repair complex machinery, perform preventive maintenance, ensure production efficiency.
• Support Operators on machine reliability and collaborate with other technicians to solve problems.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to exceed production requirements.
