Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to independently perform high-level technical support within the maintenance department. Responsibilities include training lower-level technicians and ensuring equipment reliability and quality standards across the site.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience, CMRT or equivalent accreditation, and proficiency with machine tools, diagnostic tools, and MS Windows.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with extensive maintenance experience or relevant technical certification.
• Experience with multiple skilled maintenance functions and CMRT or equivalent accreditation.
• Proficient in Windows and able to operate diagnostic and machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie's code of conduct and maintain department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards.
• Assist in root cause investigation and reliability-centered maintenance analysis; train others on tasks.
• Proficient in multiple skilled maintenance functions and create/edit maintenance job plans.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows) and perform advanced level tasks.
• Support cross-functional teams and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or site.

Job Description

Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains l0wer-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

Shift is6am-2:30pm Monday- Friday

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvies code of conduct Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis Capable of training others on tasks. Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows) Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions. CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools) Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at thetimeofthis posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographiclocation,andwemay ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may bemodified in thefuture.
