Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to keep plant operations safe, reliable, and at peak performance. You will apply advanced technical skills to improve machinery and reliability while pursuing on‑the‑job learning, training, and certifications. Eligible for a $7,000 bonus payable in installments over 12 months.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–11:00pm, with hands-on maintenance and collaboration across production teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 5–8 years in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Expert hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding, and rigging.
• PLC proficiency; commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly technically complex tasks and provide initiative in decisions.
• Diagnose and repair complex machinery; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Support Operators on machine reliability; collaborate with teams.
• Assist in equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly; report safety and quality concerns.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to exceed standards.
• Learn and observe safety precautions; handle chemicals and hazards.
• Maintain records and prepare clear written reports.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
