Job summary

Resilience is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to autonomously execute tasks maintaining site facilities equipment. This role operates on a 12-hour day shift (6:00am–6:30pm) on a 2/2/3 schedule, performing preventive and corrective maintenance with strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation in the CMMS, reading diagrams, and ensuring compliance of area and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated or cGMP environment.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Requires relevant licensure or skills in one of the following licenses: State of Ohio Boiler License, Water Purification, Industrial Maintenance Certification, Universal Section 608 HVAC License, Electrical/Electronic Certification, Infrared/Vibration/Ultrasound Certification, Electrical/HVAC/Refrigeration/Fire Alarm Journeyman License, Automated Material Handling.

Responsibilities

  • Read SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance without supervision.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and facilities.
  • Operate under cGMP and SOP requirements; wear PPE as needed.
  • Monitor and report deviations and safety issues.
  • Read diagrams and schematics for maintenance work.
  • Ensure area and equipment compliance.

Brief Job Description

This position performs autonomous execution of skilled trade tasks associated with the maintenance of site facilities equipment.

Work Schedule - 12 hour day shift operating on a 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00am - 6:30pm

Job Responsibilities (Including Key Result Areas, Specific Accountabilities, Tasks, Etc.)
  • Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentation
  • Ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes
  • Perform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervision
  • Conduct troubleshooting activities
  • Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others
  • Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid
  • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document all maintenance activities
  • Identify temporary and permanent fixes to address issues
  • Monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators
  • Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, and lock out tag out
  • Report process deviations when they occur
  • Wear gowning, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
  • Monitor and analyze Facilities equipment performance
  • Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request System
  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics
  • Recommend and initiate activities to ensure area and equipment is maintained in a state of compliance.
  • Perform infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings
  • Perform daily Facility equipment checks
  • Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately
  • Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket
  • Provide input on the engineering of replacement parts
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a regulated or cGMP environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal skills
  • Requires relevant skills, or licensure in one of the following:
  • State of Ohio Boiler License
  • Water Purification
  • Industrial Maintenance Certification
  • Universal Section 608 HVAC License
  • Electrical/Electronic Certification
  • Infrared, Vibration, Ultrasound Certification
  • Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Pipe Fitting, or Fire Alarm Journeyman License
  • Automated Material Handling
Preferred Background
  • High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.)
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline
  • 3-5 years' Experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators
  • Prior experience with CMMS
