Resilience is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance technician to autonomously execute HVAC/Refrigeration tasks and related maintenance at our Ohio site. You will read SOPs, document activities in CMMS, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment with safety and compliance in mind.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relevant licensure, and experience in regulated environments, with day shift scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Licensure in Ohio (boiler, water purification, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
Background in regulated or cGMP environments preferred.
3–5 years' experience with building HVAC/Refrigeration and related systems.
CMMS experience and ability to document maintenance activities clearly.

Responsibilities

Read SOPs and technical docs to perform maintenance tasks.
Document maintenance in CMMS with accuracy.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoot equipment and systems, and communicate findings.
Ensure compliance with cgMP and safety procedures.

Brief Job Description

This position performs autonomous execution of skilled trade tasks associated with the maintenance of site facilities equipment. This position is heavily weighted in HVAC/Refrigeration.

Job Responsibilities

Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentation
Ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes
Perform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervision
Conduct troubleshooting activities
Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others
Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid
Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document all maintenance activities
Identify temporary and permanent fixes to address issues
Monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators
Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, and lock out tag out
Report process deviations when they occur
Wear gowning, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by undefined
Monitor and analyze Facilities equipment performance
Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request System
Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics
Recommend and initiate activities to ensure area and equipment is maintained in a state of compliance.
Perform infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings
Perform daily Facility equipment checks
Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately
Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket
Provide input on the engineering of replacement parts

Minimum Requirements

Strong communication skills, written and verbal skills
Requires relevant skills, or licensure in one of the following: State of Ohio Boiler License Water Purification Industrial Maintenance Certification Universal Section 608 HVAC License Electrical/Electronic Certification Infrared, Vibration, Ultrasound Certification Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Pipe Fitting, or Fire Alarm Journeyman License Automated Material Handling
Preferred Background Experience in a regulated or cGMP environment
High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.)
Associate degree in a technical discipline
3-5 years' Experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC/Refrigeration equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators
Prior experience with CMMS

Work Schedule

This is a day shift 2-2-3 schedule (6:00am-6:30pm)

Salary

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
