Job summary

Resilience in Ohio seeks a maintenance technician to support regulated environments. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, read SOPs, and document activities in the CMMS, ensuring cGMP compliance and safety.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read diagrams, and working with hazardous materials, with a 12-hour day shift schedule and potential travel.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated or cGMP environment.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Multiple licensure/certifications as listed: Boiler, Water Purification, HVAC, Electrical, Infrared, or Fire Alarm.
  • High school diploma or associate degree in a technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with building fire systems, plumbing, HVAC equipment, low voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators.
  • Prior CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Read SOPs and excerpts from technical documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes.
  • Perform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities without supervision.
  • Conduct troubleshooting activities.
  • Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others.
  • Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid.
  • Use CMMS to document all maintenance activities.
  • Identify temporary and permanent fixes to address issues.
  • Monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators.
  • Read, understand, and comply with cGMP and SOPs, including general safety, and lock out tag out.
  • Report process deviations when they occur.
  • Wear gowning and PPE as required.
  • Monitor and analyze Facilities equipment performance.
  • Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request System.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics.
  • Recommend and initiate activities to ensure area and equipment is maintained in a state of compliance.
  • Perform infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings.
  • Perform daily Facility equipment checks.
  • Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately.
  • Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket.
  • Provide input on the engineering of replacement parts.

  • Report process deviations when they occur.

  • Monitor and analyze Facilities equipment performance.
  • Perform, in order of priority, work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request System.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics.

Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience in a regulated or cGMP environment.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Requires relevant skills, or licensure in one of the following: State of Ohio Boiler License, Water Purification Industrial Maintenance Certification, Universal Section 608 HVAC License, Electrical/Electronic Certification, Infrared, Vibration, Ultrasound Certification, Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Pipe Fitting, or Fire Alarm Journeyman License.
  • Automated Material Handling certification preferred.
  • High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.) or associate degree in a technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators.
  • Prior experience with CMMS.

Compensation

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.

12 hour day shift operating on a 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00am - 6:30pm.
