Job summary

Standard Meat Company in Irving, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician III to ensure optimal performance of facility equipment and systems. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, including PLC-controlled equipment and robotics.

You will work within GMP safety guidelines, operate CMMS, and support automation projects while maintaining a safe, efficient plant environment.

Qualifications

Must understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Able to read electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
Experience diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and servo drives.
Preferred: Fanuc robotics, industrial automation networks, and ammonia refrigeration knowledge.

Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain equipment; identify safety hazards and report potential failures.
Operate power tools, measuring instruments, welding systems, and maintain safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Use CMMS to create, update, and close work orders and preventive maintenance worksheets; maintain manuals and logs.
Assist installation, startup, modification, and continuous improvement of automation and control systems.
Maintain GMP safety guidelines; keep work area clean and organized.
