JOB DETAILS

Pay: $28.00 - 36.00 per hour

Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:30 am (Monday - Thursday)

Overtime opportunities to be expected (50+ hours a week)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable and consistent production processes. You should have excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences, along with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

The Maintenance Tech III must have proficiency in electrical systems, including:

1. Troubleshooting, changing, installing, and commissioning components of instrument control and electrical systems. At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Controls.
2. Working with power distribution systems, uninterruptible power sources, communication protocols, human-machine interfaces.
3. Conducting medium voltage troubleshooting and repair (480 VAC, 750 VDC), electrical testing (insulation integrity, partial discharge), and knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards. Transformer maintenance and testing. Experience with three-phase motors, DC motors, motor controls, servo motors, and controls.
4. Ensuring safe operation, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of all manufacturing equipment activities.
5. Collaborating with production departments to schedule troubleshooting and repairs.
6. Maintaining a strong focus on safety, including proper PPE, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Proficiency in general mathematics, with some roles requiring advanced math skills.
• Ability to resolve unexpected events effectively.
• Experience with hand and power tools, shop machinery, testing equipment, and reading measuring devices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring walking, standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
• Specific vision abilities including close-up, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
