What will you do?
Summary:
Perform a variety of electrical and mechanical assignments, applying your skills, experience, and knowledge to support plant operations and leadership.
Core Functions:
- Perform electrical installations and maintenance on plant systems to ensure continuous power and lighting.
- Make repairs to buildings and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical or electronic issues, replacing equipment as needed.
- Coordinate operation and installation of “download” systems from network to machine controllers.
- Obtain and safely operate a forklift license.
- Assist with mechanical tasks as assigned.
- Maintain equipment records in the computerized maintenance system.
- Maintain tools and perform fabrication, maintenance, and welding of metal parts using various techniques.
- Keep workspace organized and clean.
Key Measures of Success:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to install complex wiring and control systems according to codes.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
- Read measurements, perform basic calculations, and utilize technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong mechanical problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:
- Minimum: Vocational or technical degree with at least six years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical symbols.
- Preferred: Welding, fabrication, motor controls, and automation knowledge.
