• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machine tools, spinning lathes, ovens, overhead cranes, and various manufacturing equipment
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and electricity.
• Understanding and ability to fabricate, machine parts and weld as needed to repair or upgrade machine tools, equipment, or facility
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery includes tear down and replacement of defective parts, reassembly, and readjustments.
• Assist outside contractors on overhaul and repair to machine tools, facility improvements and other projects.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and production machines.
• Able to read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Works closely with Engineering and office staff to troubleshoot processes and problems and give recommendations on new and existing products and machines
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
• Operate Robotic cells as required
• Work in FanDuct Flow Line as required

• Actively participates in 6S and lean activities as outlined by the Company
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following
• Company instructions
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Tools, equipment, and gauges are stored and maintained as defined by company standards
• Keeps work area clean and organized to company standards/expectations

-Daily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipment

-Empty of trash and waste as needed

-Personal items removed from work stations

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5+ years proven experience as a manufacturing maintenance tech.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint requirements and ability to interpret geometric
• dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
