Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician III to act as the site electrical and controls SME, driving troubleshooting, capital projects, and mentoring for Tech I/II staff. You will own PLC/HMI/servo diagnostics, coordinate with vendors, and uphold safety and maintenance standards.

You will contribute to root cause analysis, document procedures, and support reliability initiatives, with willingness to work off-shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; equivalency considered with a defined pathway to degree.
• Demonstrated expert-level electrical and controls troubleshooting.
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude testing required.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures independently.
• Role provides technical leadership and mentoring without direct supervisory duties.
• Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls-related equipment failures.
• Serve as primary technical resource for electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Lead equipment commissioning, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
• Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and industrial control systems.
• Mentor and guide Tech I and II personnel; support root cause investigations.
• Support contractors, vendors, and engineering resources during projects.
• Maintain equipment records and complete work orders in CMMS; contribute to reliability improvements.
