Job summary

Litchfield Elementary School District seeks a Maintenance Technician III to service district facilities across multiple sites. You will work on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, doors and carpentry, with routine inspections for safety and security. The role is full-time, 8 hours per day, primarily first shift with rotating second shift.

District paid benefits include medical, dental and life insurance; on-call duty is required and a district vehicle and tools are provided for job tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining district facilities and building systems.
• Ability to perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.
• Willingness to work a shift with rotating second shift and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, doors, lighting and structural components across district sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections for safety and security.
• Operate and care for district vehicles and tools; respond to facility issues as needed.
