Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep the property safe and running smoothly. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems to ensure high guest satisfaction.

You will develop safety programs, maintain detailed records, and train junior team members, with opportunities for growth in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across hotel systems and property grounds.
• Ability to train Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration and mechanical operations.
• Develop and monitor safety programs for ergonomic, emergency-response and injury-prevention regulations.
• Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical repair and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance for all areas of the property.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment in compliance with regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule for department needs.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.

• Ability to speak, write, and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English

• Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs
