Job summary

AbbVie in Chicago is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to independently provide advanced technical support within the maintenance department and to train lower-level technicians on more complex tasks. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and adherence to GMP and company standards.

The position requires strong knowledge of maintenance tools, intermediate MS Windows skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects and safety initiatives within

Qualifications

• HS diploma with extensive experience or relevant certificate or an associates degree with several years in maintenance
• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desirable
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (e.g. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct and maintain department assets to ensure reliability and quality
• Train lower-level technicians on advanced maintenance tasks
• Perform and supervise维修-related tasks with proficiency across multiple skilled trades

Job Description

Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains l0wer-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct
• Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
• Capable of training others on tasks.
• Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
• Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
• Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
