Job description

We’re searching for a Maintenance Technician -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry, and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for multiple systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management. Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Repair failed equipment within acceptable timeframes.
2. Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for various systems and equipment, demonstrating effective troubleshooting skills.
3. Demonstrate technical knowledge on multiple pieces of equipment and related systems, including basic electrical knowledge and meter usage. Understand fire safety procedures, including fire extinguisher types and usage. Ensure work meets quality standards.
4. Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships with internal and external customers, minimizing customer impact and maximizing task effectiveness.
5. Create and process purchase orders. Manage inventory to meet standards for orderliness, labeling, and quantity.
6. Provide positive leadership and guidance to team members.

Skills & Requirements
