Job summary

Helen of Troy is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the Arlington, TN site. This on-site role supports plant equipment and facility reliability, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime as needed.

You will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, use Pick2Light systems, and coordinate priority projects while mentoring others. The position requires a high school diploma, several years of maintenance experience, and readiness for lifting and working in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience in specialized or technical training.
• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot machinery and conveyor systems.
• Use Pick2Light systems to analyze errors and guide repairs.
• Establish priority work projects and coordinate repairs.
• Prepare reports and monitor maintenance schedules.
• Oversee work activities and provide guidance to other personnel.

You will be responsible for maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems.Uses Pick2Light systems, which analyzes computer system errors enabling maintenance to make repairs, reset faults, etc., as needed.Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.Provides directions, assigns tasks and minor work of other personnel, and reports to the supervisor.Prepares reports, monitors maintenance schedules, and monitors employee time records.Reviews Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and logs them into Benchmark.Maintains parts inventory.Prepares schedules, oversees work activities, performance appraisals, counsel employees, etc.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.2+ years related experience in specialized or technical training.5+ years' experience in Maintenance environment.Ability to work well with others adhering to company values.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and from elevated work platforms when required.Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as necessary.Ability to stock and organize products safely and accordingly, as some items are fragile.Ability to review and process shipping documents.Supports process and logistics improvement initiatives.Follows established safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) systems.Benefits: Salary + Bonus , Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) with company match, Basic Life Insurance, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Charitable (volunteer) Leave, and Educational Assistance.Wondering if you should apply?
