Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join the Walnut Grove community in Greenfield, CA. The role covers maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots.

Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and rotating on-call duty. Two possible on-call shifts per week and willingness to travel locally as needed. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Valid driver's license in good standing per company policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Complete service requests and repairs; ensure vacants are market-ready.
• Perform maintenance work orders under preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal: snow removal, landscaping, trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours as scheduled.

About the Opportunity

WinnCompaniesis searching for aMaintenance Technician IItov join our team atWalnut Grove,a 64-unit affordable housing communitylocatedinGreenfield, CA.

In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residentialcommon areas,office,groundsand parking lots.

The pay range for this role is $23.00-$25.00 per hour. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with rotating on-call duty required on an alternating basis.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and make repairs in such areas as, but not limitedto:appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures. Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market readyin accordance withcompany standards.
• Perform maintenance service orders associated with the preventive maintenance program, building and safetyinspectionand annual unit inspection.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communicationand interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.

Preferred Qualifications:
