UniFirst Corp. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Tech II to join our team in the Maintenance Department.

The role focuses on repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional night/weekend overtime. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding organization that values safety and teamwork.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year minimum experience repairing industrial equipment.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Overtime may be required.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot equipment problems by observation and testing.
• Assist other maintenance personnel with repairs.
• Repair PLCs and control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Test boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment and adjust as needed.
• Perform boiler safety checks and maintenance.
• Inspect motors, belts, lubrication, and replace filters.
• Perform basic welding for repairs.
• Inspect, lubricate and maintain shafts, bearings, gears and related parts.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
