UniFirst in United States is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech II to join our UniFirst community. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components.

At UniFirst we have a standard Monday - Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18.
• Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Overtime availability required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot equipment problems using observation and precision tools.
• Assist maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and related control systems.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specs.
• Perform boiler chemical testing and adjust chemicals as needed.
• Perform safety checks on boilers and perform repairs as required.
• Inspect and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Perform basic welding to effect repairs.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
