Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of building systems and general trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Respond to resident and tenant service requests with courteous communication.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Assist with apartment and office turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and fixture replacement.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition; report shortages or repair needs.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance as needed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Adhere to Elm Grove safety policies, procedures, and company standards of conduct.
