Job summary

Trane Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician II to organize and perform maintenance on production and facility equipment. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime and resolving quality issues, with work on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and adherence to SOPs. The position runs 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technology.
• Strong knowledge across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical wiring and power systems.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a group setting.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and PLCs is a plus.
• Willing to support 2nd shift if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on both production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities equipment.
• Research, identify, and source repair/replacement component parts and equipment.
• Assist in the planning and installation of new equipment and improvements to the facility.
• Communicate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers to support the operation, service, and repair of production and facilities equipment.
• Attend safety training and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain equipment service records and documentation.
