EMD Electronics in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician II to ensure operational readiness of facilities infrastructure and manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support fabrication for new and existing production units.

The role requires at least 2+ years in maintenance and machinist work, with ability to read blueprints and use precision tools, while maintaining strong safety focus. On-site role with benefits offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience in a Facility/Maintenance department of an industrial or manufacturing company.
2+ years of experience as machinist.

Responsibilities

Execute maintenance tasks for preventive and corrective maintenance of site safety systems and facility infra.
Assist with troubleshooting, testing and repair of equipment and systems.
Provide mechanical fabrication support for new production units and upkeep of existing units.
Support facility upkeep and general maintenance tasks.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inspection checklists.
Use basic hand and power tools.
Review drawings or instructions to understand specifications.
Determine batch sizes and machine speeds; select appropriate machines and load material.
Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping.
