Job summary

Wagner Group in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain production spaces and equipment. This onsite, full-time role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment, read schematics, work with hydraulics and pneumatics, and weld with MIG. A high school diploma and forklift certification are required; HVAC/Boiler license or degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree in HVAC and Boiler license preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Forklift certification or license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production spaces and equipment.
• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains production equipment.
• Researches and recommends equipment needed to complete projects.
• Performs electrical evaluation and repairs; reads schematics.
• Works with hydraulics and pneumatics; reads related schematics.
• MIG welding; basic mill and lathe operations; TIG a plus.
• Fabricates tooling, jigs and mechanical fixtures as needed.
• Informs Maintenance Supervisor of issues for guidance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
