Job summary
Silgan Closures is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the Kingsport, TN facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding machines, robots, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment, while diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
The role emphasizes preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity. The position offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, overtime opportunities, and a starting wage of $25.00 per hour,
Qualifications
- 5+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and use measuring tools.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain molding machines, robots, conveyors, and related equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
