Job summary

Paylocity in Boston is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to handle day-to-day maintenance at shelters, including grounds, plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, HVAC troubleshooting, and seasonal snow removal.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least three years of maintenance experience, with preferred Hoisting license or basic training and bilingual English/Spanish. On-call rotations and emergency response are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems.
• Hoisting license or basic training certification preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance across shelters, including grounds work and basic repairs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and food service equipment; handle wall repair and painting.
• Support Building Engine PM and seasonal snow removal as needed.
• Assist in emergency repairs and participate in on-call rotations per policy.
