Job summary

St. Pauls PACE Akaloa in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facility in top condition, including machines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building surfaces. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and work with TLS CMMS to manage work orders and PMs.

Applicants should be able to read blueprints, work independently, and follow safety protocols. The role involves safety training, log keeping, and support for special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Apprentice level in at least 3 trades.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems according to procedures and regulations.
• Utilize TLS CMMS to generate, complete, and close work orders and PMs; communicate repairs and PMs with the Administrator.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventories, and shop areas; ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.
• Attend safety trainings and ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety requirements.
• May assist with special events and other tasks as needed.
